Janet Myler

Operations Manager Cheshire

Hello my name is Janet……….  I was first introduced to the health and social care industry in 2002 after being made redundant from my job in retail. I joined a  large national domiciliary care provider in the role of Admin Support, I had no qualifications and expected to work in this industry for a short time whilst I found what I thought was a more suitable career path for me.  I never for one minute thought that 16 years later I would still be part of the social care community, leading and supporting teams-but I am so glad that I am!

I was promoted to care co-ordinator in 2005, and Registered Manager in 2010. I have lead and supported the development of many care workers in their chosen career paths, whether it be to develop from Home Care Assistant to Team Coach and upwards, nursing, physiotherapy or social work etc. To date I have undergone a vast array of training and qualifications in health and social care, leadership and management and end of life care.  I hold a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Adults, Children’s and Young People’s Services in Health and Social Care and I am currently studying alongside Emma and Stephanie, towards a level 7 diploma in Strategic Management. I am recognised as a Dementia Friend’s Champion, Dignity Champion and iCare Ambassador. As part of my role as a Dementia Friend’s Champion, I deliver Information Sessions to our team members and individuals outside of our workplace so that they too can have an awareness and become a ‘Dementia Friend’

My great passion is to support the care of the sick and elderly to remain living independently in their own  community, and I work closely with other professionals to promote and develop services. I am currently a member of the Warrington Social Care Enterprise , I am the Vice Chairperson in the Warrington Dementia Action Alliance supporting the Dementia Action Strategy 2016-2019, working tirelessly to raise awareness for people living well with Dementia, and to develop dementia friendly communities.

When we were given the opportunity to develop a new Domiciliary Care service, I did not hesitate. I truly believe that the team here at Elite Care can make a huge difference to individuals in receipt of care, and those who are employed in the role of delivering that support-I have made it my life’s mission…….

We can not praise Elite enough. From the initial meeting we knew we had made the right choice for the care of our dad. Emma and Katy put myself and most importantly my dad at ease. Dad looks forward to seeing Katy throughout the week, and as a family we know dad is in the best hands. Well done ladies.

SB Client’s Daughter, Warrington

I can 1000% vouch for this amazing lady and her team!! My Grandpa had the most attentive first class care we could have ever wanted!

HC Client's Granddaughter, Atherton

I would not hesitate to recommend Elite Care, they have spent a lifetime working in the Health and Social Care sector and are driven to ‘Exceed Expectations’. If you scoured the earth you could not find a more caring and dedicated team, I am proud to know you – Well done!

Having the understanding of what Elite means striving to achieve and sustain is absolutely fabulous. The care standards is about finding the right people to deliver a high standard of care to all.

PP Director of Nursing, Warrington

Emma has a heart of gold, immeasurable loyalty. Stamina, resilience and honourable ethics and a pure motivation of improving the lives of those who need all these qualities in their corner. Outstanding service. I am a mental health nurse and project worker in a wellness service and throughout my life and career, I have seen the very best and worst. Wholeheartedly I recommend Elite and the highest quality out there leading it.
